Seven quarts is plenty for a whole chicken plus veggies, and the dark blue color looks stunning on the stove between meals. The lid fits so snugly that I barely need to add water for braises, and cleanup is just a quick wipe.

The dark blue enamel is even richer in person, and the 7-quart size handled a full chicken and veggies with room to spare. Lid fits like a dream and keeps everything moist.

The 7 quart size is perfect for a big batch of chili, and the dark blue enamel looks great sitting on my stove. Only gripe is it's heavy enough that lifting it out of the oven full of stew takes two hands.
