The cast iron gives a beautiful sear on steaks and the grill lines look professional. It's heavier than I expected but that's part of why it holds heat so well. Cleanup takes a bit of scrubbing, though.

The square shape actually fits two ribeyes side by side without crowding, and the grill lines come out deep and even. Cast iron holds heat so well that I get a proper sear in about 90 seconds per side.

Cleaning this square pan takes a bit more effort than my old nonstick, but the sear it puts on chicken thighs is worth it. The cherry enamel exterior is also way prettier than I expected for a grill pan.
