Kupte si litinovou kokotu Staub s kohoutím knoflíkem

The oval shape actually fits a whole chicken with room to spare, which my old round pot never managed. That little rooster knob makes me smile every time I lift the lid, and the grenadine color is deeper and richer in person than in the photos.

Bought this for slow-braising short ribs and the oval shape fits them without crowding, which my old round pot never managed. Heat distribution is dead even on my gas stove, and cleanup after a long braise took maybe five minutes. The grenadine enamel is even prettier in person than in the listing.

This oval 5.75 qt pot is the perfect fit for a big batch of coq au vin, and the grenadine color looks stunning sitting on my stove. The cast iron heats so evenly that everything comes out tender with no hot spots.
