The basil green color looks even better in person and the 5 qt size handles a whole chicken with room for vegetables. I've used it for braising short ribs twice now and everything comes out tender without drying out.

The lid fits so snugly I barely need to check on my stews, and the heat distribution is wonderfully even across the whole pot. I’ve used it three times already and the basil exterior cleans up without any fuss, which makes me reach for it over my other pans every time.

That basil color is even more beautiful in person, and the 5 qt size has been perfect for our Sunday pot roasts. You can really feel the quality in the cast iron’s weight, and the heat stays so steady that everything comes out tender without any hot spots.
