The lid fits so snugly that my stew barely lost any liquid during a three-hour simmer. Cleanup was surprisingly easy too—just a quick soak and wipe. This dutch oven is exactly what my kitchen needed.

I was worried the white finish would stain, but after braising short ribs for three hours it wiped clean with just hot water. The 4-quart size is perfect for a family of four, and the tight-fitting lid barely let any moisture escape.

The pure white enamel is even more beautiful in person—and the cast iron heats so evenly. Made a perfect batch of beef stew, and cleanup was a breeze.
