The dark blue enamel looks even richer in person, and cleanup after a sticky braise took barely a minute. My first dutch oven and now I get why people baby these things.

The dark blue enamel looks even richer in person than in the photos. I've been braising short ribs in it all week and the heat distribution is incredibly even, nothing sticks to the bottom. The cast iron lid fits snugly enough that I barely lose any moisture.

The 2.75 qt size is perfect for a small batch of beef stew, and the black matte interior has needed zero seasoning so far. I've been searing on the stove and finishing in the oven all week with it.
