Köp Staub gjutjärns cocotte

The oval shape actually fits a whole chicken without cramming it in, which my old round pot never managed. Cleanup's been easy too since nothing sticks to the black enamel interior. It's heavy, but that's kind of the point.

The graphite grey finish hides stains way better than my old white enamel pot ever did. I've been braising short ribs in it every Sunday and the heat distribution is noticeably even, no scorching on the bottom. Heavy as heck, but that's cast iron for you.

I've been using this pot for braises and it holds heat so evenly that my short ribs came out fork-tender. The graphite grey enamel interior wipes clean with barely any scrubbing.
