Buy Staub x Smitten Kitchen - Cast Iron Saute pan Chistera

That matte black finish is gorgeous on the stovetop and the chistera pattern inside does a great job searing—my chicken came out with a perfect crust without sticking. It’s heavy, but the even heat distribution makes up for the arm workout.

The matte black finish on this 4-quart braiser looks even better in person, and the cast iron heats so evenly that my stews come out perfect every time. The lid’s weight is substantial but balanced, and cleanup is surprisingly easy despite the heavy build. This is the pan I reach for daily now.

The lid fits so snugly that steam barely escapes, and the matte black finish looks stunning right on the dinner table. I’ve used it three times this week for braises and the heat distribution is honestly flawless.
