Buy Staub Cast Iron Saute pan

Finally got one in dark blue and it's gorgeous enough to leave on the stovetop between meals. The cast iron heats evenly enough that my first batch of braised short ribs came out tender without any scorched spots, and clean-up was just a quick soak.

The lid seals so well that my stews come out way more tender without me having to babysit the liquid level. The 3.5 quart size is perfect for a Sunday braise for the family, and cleanup is just a quick wipe since the enamel is so smooth.

The dark blue enamel is even richer in person, and the braiser's wide surface sears chicken beautifully without splattering everywhere. Cleanup took just a quick wipe, which sold me on cast iron for weeknight cooking.
