The wide oval shape actually fits a whole chicken with room for potatoes around it, which my old round pot never managed. The dark blue enamel cleans up with just a soak, no scrubbing. Heavy, but that's the point.

I've had this 6.25 qt oval oven for about a month and the even heat on braised short ribs is unreal. The dark blue enamel cleans up way easier than my old bare cast iron, just a quick soak and wipe.

The wide oval shape fits a whole chicken with room to spare, and the dark blue enamel looks even better in person. Nothing sticks to the bottom, and cleanup takes maybe two minutes. My only regret is not buying the 6.25 qt sooner.
