Koop Staub Gietijzeren Franse oven

The peony pink color is even prettier in person and it's become the pot I leave out on the stove. The 5 qt size is perfect for a whole chicken or a big batch of stew, and cleanup has been way easier than my old enameled pot.

I’ve been braising short ribs in this 5 qt oven every Sunday since it arrived, and the heat distribution is so even that I never get scorched spots on the bottom. The lid fits snugly enough that I barely lose any steam, which makes the meat come out fall-apart tender.

The peony pink is even prettier in person, and the 5-quart size handles my Sunday stews perfectly. Free shipping made the splurge feel a little less painful, and the enamel inside has been a breeze to clean so far.
