Koop Staub Gietijzeren Cocotte

I've been using this 7 qt cocotte for Sunday roasts and it fits a whole chicken with room for potatoes around it. The self-basting lid really does keep everything moist, and cleanup was way easier than my old pan.

The matte black finish is gorgeous and doesn't show fingerprints at all, which is huge for my kitchen. I've used it twice for braises and the heat distribution is noticeably even, plus the 7 qt size handles a whole chicken with room to spare.

Heavy lid seals in moisture so well that my pot roast came out fall-apart tender without me adding extra liquid. The matte black finish cleans up easily and doesn’t show the usual scratches after a few months of steady use. Worth every penny for the size.
