ストウブ 鋳鉄製ココットを購入

I've been using this 3 qt cocotte for stews and it holds heat so evenly that I barely have to stir. The tomato-shaped lid is cute, though it's the tight seal that keeps everything from drying out.

The cherry red enamel looks gorgeous sitting on my stove, and cleanup is a breeze since nothing sticks to it. I've been making braises and no-knead bread in it all month, and the heat distribution is impressively even.

The 3 qt size is perfect for a batch of chili or a whole chicken, and the cherry red looks great sitting on my stove. It's heavy, but that's exactly what I wanted for slow braising.
