The basil color is even prettier in person, and the pumpkin shape makes me smile every time I pull it out for stews. The cast iron holds heat so evenly that my short ribs came out fall-apart tender, and the stainless knob means I can move it straight into the oven.

The 3.5 quart size is perfect for a batch of chili for two people with leftovers, and the basil color looks even better on my stove than in the photos. The stainless steel knob is a nice upgrade too since I can throw the whole thing in the oven without swapping anything out.
