Heavy lid seals in moisture so well that my stews come out richer than anything I've made before. The basil green color looks stunning on the stovetop, and the 7-quart capacity fits a whole chicken easily.

I was a bit nervous about the size, but the 7-quart capacity is perfect for big Sunday stews and bread baking. The basil color is even more beautiful in person, and it arrived well-packed with free shipping.

The lid seals so tightly that steam barely escapes, and after three hours of braising, the meat came out impossibly tender. It's heavy, but that's exactly what you want for even heat. Cleanup was a breeze despite the deep pot.
