The square shape actually fits two steaks side by side, which my old round pan never managed. Cherry enamel coating cleans up with just a quick soak, no scrubbing burnt bits off. Heavy, but that's kind of the point with cast iron.

Those deep grill ridges leave proper char marks on zucchini and chicken thighs without any sticking. It's heavier than my old pan, but it holds heat so evenly that I don't bother finishing things in the oven anymore.
