The grenadine enamel is even prettier in person, that deep red looks great sitting on the stove. I've been braising short ribs and baking bread in it all month and the heat distribution is incredibly even. Cleanup is easy too, nothing sticks.

The 2.75 qt size is perfect for a small batch of stew or a loaf of no-knead bread, and the heat retention on this cast iron is no joke — everything comes out evenly browned. The black matte interior also means I don't have to baby it the way I did with my old white-enameled pot.
