The dark blue enamel looks even better in person than in the photos, and the cast iron heats so evenly that my stews don't scorch on the bottom anymore. Heavy, sure, but that's the point.

Roasted a whole chicken in this last night and the oval shape actually fits it without cramming. The cast iron heats so evenly that the thighs hit 175 without the breast drying out, and cleanup was just a rinse.
