I was a bit worried the 7 qt would be too heavy, but the cast iron is actually well-balanced and easy to manage with two hands. The lid fits so snugly that my stews barely lose any moisture, and the turquoise color is a real showstopper on the stovetop.

The turquoise finish looks even better in person than in the photos. Made a big batch of chili in it and the heat spread so evenly there were no scorched spots at the bottom, which always happened with my old pot. The 7 qt size is perfect for feeding a crowd and still fits in my cabinet.

I've used this thing three times this week and the heat retention is honestly kind of ridiculous—I browned short ribs on the stove and then moved the whole pot straight into the oven. The 7 qt size is bigger than I pictured, which is fine since it fits a whole chicken with room for vegetables around
