Beli Staub Cocotte Besi Cor

The matte black enamel has held up perfectly through braises, no staining at all after a month of heavy use. The 4 qt size is just right for a whole chicken or a big batch of stew for two people. The black interior makes it easy to see when fond is building instead of guessing.

The lid seals so tightly that steam barely escapes—my stews come out richer than in any other pot I've owned. The 4-quart size is perfect for weeknight dinners, and cleanup is surprisingly easy for a cast iron piece.

The matte black finish looks even better in person, and the 4 qt size is perfect for our Sunday stews. It heats evenly and the lid fits like a dream, plus the free shipping made the whole thing painless.
