Køb Staub La Cocotte fransk ovn hest

That horse lid is the reason I clicked buy, and it looks even better in my kitchen than on the screen. The cherry enamel is glossy and deep, and the 5 qt size handles a whole chicken or a big batch of stew without crowding. Cooks evenly, cleans up like a dream.

The horse lid is such a charming, unique touch—it makes the pot feel like a piece of art, not just cookware. The cherry color is even richer in person, and the 5 qt size handles my weekly stews with room to spare. Shipping was fast and free, which sealed the deal.

I've used this 5 qt French oven almost daily for stews and braises, and the heat retention is genuinely impressive—meat comes out fork-tender. The horse lid detail is charming, though it's a bit heavier than my old pot when full.
