Køb Staub støbejerns fransk ovn

The wide oval shape actually fits a whole chicken with room for veggies around it, which my old round pot never managed. Heats evenly on the stove and cleans up with just a soak.

The lilac enamel is even prettier in person, and the black interior hides stains way better than my old white one. I fit a whole 5-pound chicken plus vegetables in the wide oval without crowding. Cleanup was a quick soak and wipe, no scrubbing needed.

I was worried the wide oval shape would be awkward on my small stovetop, but it actually fits fine and the low sides make browning short ribs so much easier. Cleanup's been simple too, nothing sticks after a quick soak.
